Now that you have started building your Weebly site, you need to and add content. Here's what we'll do in this workshop:
• Review the photos & images you are proposing (bring them with you on a flash drive)
• Resize your images for faster page loading, using a 3rd party image editor
• Adding text, images, forms, HTML elements using the tools sidebar
• Altering fonts and font colors in your site the easy way (and why I try to avoid the hard way)
• Introduction to being found on search engines (i.e. Google)
• Building a storefront on weebly (if you plan to use this feature)
• Alternative: add your Etsy shop ("Etsy Mini") to your page
• Upgrade your account if needed
• Connect your URL that you have already purchased from a domain service (such as GoDaddy)
• You should leave with a website that's ready for you to fine-tune on your own.
For further guidance I offer:
"Website Refresher"
"Adobe Photoshop: Basic Photo Editing"
"Adobe Fireworks: Optimized Web Graphics"
